To quote JFK: "leadership and learning are indispensible to each other". As such we want to provide leaders with as much stimulation and training as possible, so hopefully some of the resources below will be useful in your leadership journey.
Choosing New Leaders
This is one of the most important tasks you will carry out and those you choose and how you chosoe will shape the future of your CU.
Here are some helpful reminders in what to look for and how to choose new leaders (in a CU leadership team/committee setting). Thinking through some of the characteristics you are looking for is also important as you choose.
Looking for and preparing new leaders is vitally important, biblical leaders are always training up new leaders, and preparing their successors - not just dumping the role and responsibility on them and running.

Leaders have different styles, good leaders are people who understand and play to their strengths and delegate their weaknesses. Understanding your leadership style can help you not only be more effective but work better in a team by understanding yourself and others well. Fill in the Leadership Style Indicator and then see what the results tell you about yourself.
