Small Group Resources
Some CU's are a small group meeting together, other CU's split into smaller groups. Whatever format your CU takes small groups are vital for building community, sharing life and engaging together with God's word. On this page you'll find a variety of resources for small groups - from leaders guides to bible studies being used on various campuses.
SLOBS
This is not intended as a comment on the lifestyle of your average small group leader, but rather it stands for: Small Group Leaders Own Bible Study
IFES Ireland run SLOBS groups on campuses where there are multiple small groups. The benefits of SLOBS for leaders are pretty amazing:
- A safe place for leaders to share with and pray for each other
- An opportunity to begin preparing Bible study material together with other leaders and allowing God's word to begin speaking into your life
- Get ideas from other leaders and training on the various aspects of small group life from IFES Ireland Staff
SLOBS is not about adding another ‘Christian thing' to your diary. The goal is to inspire, equip and invest in you as a leader, so you are living out the things you are talking about.

Below are bible studies and notes that have been used in a variety of CU's that may be useful. As with all bible studies you will need to take time to prepare the passage yourself and contextualise the questions and application to your group.
