César Munoz, IFES Interaction Team, Madrid, writes ...

Dance nights, quiz nights and hiking have been the most recent events we have organized for the international students here in Madrid. These events went well with the non-Christians who came  along having a blast. We also put our Christian values to work by participating in a campaign to raise awareness of the extreme poverty many Saharan people suffer, and this gave us the chance to present to Gospel to several students. Please, pray that more of the international Christian students here will get involved in running these events.

I especially want to tell you about Freya, the Belgian girl that has been coming to our events since the beginning. The first time Gisela (my team mate) and Freya met, after Christmas, they talked through the night until six in the morning! Freya seems to be close to making the decision to give her life to the Lord. After reading the story of the Samaritan woman, she was utterly shocked to see how relevant the story could be to her own life! Please, pray for her.

Regarding the CUs (or Nucleos), it is becoming more and more difficult to get good attendance, especially with the exams approaching. On the other hand, from now on I will be helping out in the running of more CUs (a total of four). Pray for better attendance and ideas to encourage students to live as contagious Christians.

I also would like to encourage students in Ireland to consider joining an IFES InterAction team. They are exciting, challenging, faith-stretching, and greatly needed! You could even come and join us for the Salamanca Evangelistic Campaign from 17th-20th July as a taster!
